Westwood did some interesting games like NOX back at the turn of the millennium. It was a straight forward action RPG like Diablo but you felt more in control of your character. It also handled the spells in a weird wonderful way. All the cool levels and enemies aside it still turned out to be a very basic dungeon crawling game with some neat mechanics but still very much familiar settings. Once the novelty started to wear off there weren’t much anything holding the game up. It was still fun and worked well but everything that could’ve made this game an epic was mediocre at best. It’s a shame, too, because when I first started this game I really liked it a lot.
