Hotline Miami was a fun game. I usually don’t have too much fun with games but I laughed so much in a murderous glee with this game that the must’ve been doing something right. I had trouble following the story due to being an idiot but it evoked a certain disturbing sense of darkness even outside the gameplay segments. The music was fantastic and even though one can’t really call the graphics high fidelity they certainly are very detailed and serve a purpose. I only had trouble telling windows apart from walls in the game and that wasn’t too big of a deal. The game was only about two to three hours long but the achievements will keep you busy if that’s your kind of play style. I would’ve hoped for more gameplay and getting deeper into this world of backstabbing and revenge but I can’t say I was disappointed by really anything the game had to offer.
